There are many things to do when you decided to sell your work.

Here are two of the most important thing.

1. Form a company, I chose a LLC. You may be better with a different type.

2. Get a tax ID number. If you are going to a show outside your state a separate ID will be needed for each state.

I had help with this part of the business, it was all set up with Legal Zoom.

Many artist get caught up with this step.

I hate this part of the business, but a business it is, and need to be treated as such.

So I have an accountant.

All these things will make you better prepared before you sell any of your OOAK dolls.
