Workshop details -sales table display.

               Here are some of the details for the business card workshop I will be teaching at the Quinlan Art Doll show. April 30th. 9-5 with an hour for lunch.  The Art Doll show and convention will be held at the Clarion hotel near the Philadelphia airport. http://www.quinlanmuseum.com/convention/

                This is what the students will be making. Not exactly this, this is my version of a business cardholder. The students will make one that reflected their style.  This class will be about making an art doll,  BUT it is also about art thinking about their table displays as a whole artistic vision.  

                             SO few artists put enough time into thinking thru their display. 

They stop their creative brains once the piece is finished. They throw a cloth on a table and display all their wares. My philosophy is that the table should be thought of like a theatre set. It should enhance the action. This extends all the way to the business cards and how they are displayed.

These are the parts. A doll (with wire arms) and a wood base.
