Making an Art Doll for a challange or re-examining your work Part 2

So hindsight being 20/20.  I will post my critiques of the piece.

I begun with a sketch. 

The piece has an Art Deco feel to it. So I gather the supplies and try to figure out the process.

After the sculpting figuring out the pose is the important part. Aluminum wire and steel wire. *20/20 What I would have done differently, attaching the head to the body is a continuous struggle.   I inlayed the wire in the shoulder plate not very graceful.

So much wire, which means the structure was not sound, so I inserted the steel rod.

The hands are a really good sculpt.
