Preparing to show your work/ Part 6 think about the theme. More about displaying you dolls

It is a good idea that before you go to the show, set up your display.

Clear a space and take out all your display items and Art dolls and do a dry run.  (You can also start your pack list at this time. More about this later)

This process will help you find your theme.   To help you Choose Your Display Theme  think about these questions. 

1. What are your dolls about?  
2. Are they Fairies celebrating the season?
3. Women of a certain time period? 

Think of your table as a stage.

To strengthen your display, keep your theme active

1. Keep all the colors in harmony.
2. Avoid over crowding the table. 
3. Use different levels

So....
If you make OOAK babies in pastel clothing maybe make your display light and airy.  The colors you chose effect how the collector feel about your display and by extension how they feel about your dolls.

So experiment with layout and colors.  Dont settle for a black table skirt, maybe lace over gold is better. Don't forget about your logo.
