Preparing to show your work/ Part 1 branding

Once you have decided to show your creations to the world, a difficult decision, where do you begin.  There are a few different type of shows where we, Art doll artist,  can show and sell our wares. but before that you need to think of your self as a business.

You are a brand. 

There are a few basics that you have to consider. These are things that every artist need to have.  

• A good business card

• Make your card as unique as your dolls. A business card is still a calling card and will help show that you a professional.  This is a takeaway for your customers to remember you and hopefully buy. 
• It needs to contain all the information, name, mailing address, website, phone number and blog if you have one.
