Mulberry Paper wings
I was having an issue with wings for my side show doll Grand moth. I tried 2 versions of poly clay wings and one set of oiled paper wings none where right.
I bought the doll to NIADA, uncompleted, for my membership critique, and although they loved the doll I knew the wings still were not right. I bought the tutorial "making paper wings" by NIADA artist Kat Soto available on her web site www.thedollsmith.com thought this is the solution.
So
I gathered all the supplies and began, the finished wings are great but the wrong color after painting for 6 hours, so I remade the molds and began again.
